The Lebanese army continues to strengthen its deployment in towns in southern Lebanon.

On January 20th, Jinshi Data reported that the Lebanese army issued a statement on the 19th, stating that after the Israeli army gradually withdrew, units of the Lebanese army are coordinating with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and the mechanism for supervising the ceasefire protocol to complete the deployment in towns such as Binchoubeil in southern Lebanon. The relevant teams have also conducted engineering surveys, opened up roads, cleared debris, and handled unexploded ordnance and suspicious items left by the Israeli army.
