ChatGPT predicts: Ethereum will become the global settlement layer by 2035, with ETH reaching 100,000 USD.

OpenAI's artificial intelligence model ChatGPT predicts that by 2035, Ethereum (ETH) will become a pillar for systems such as medical records, digital identification, and voting. ChatGPT has provided three price trajectories for ETH, estimating that it could reach as high as $100,000.

To explore the next decade of Ethereum, cryptocurrency media has requested ChatGPT to make an informed prediction about the price of ETH. Although artificial intelligence cannot accurately predict the future, it can analyze past trends and macroeconomic dynamics to provide a reasonable vision.

Ethereum (ETH) Price Prediction: ChatGPT believes it can reach over 100,000 USD

By 2035, ChatGPT has provided 3 different price estimates based on various scenarios for the next ten years:

Conservative: $20,000

Neutral: $40,000–$50,000

Bullish: over 100,000 USD

ChatGPT stated: "If Ethereum becomes the global settlement layer for artificial intelligence, finance, and digital identification, then six-figure ETH is no longer a pipe dream."

But it emphasizes that in order to achieve price targets, Ethereum must have "perfect execution, continuous decentralization, and regulatory neutrality."

Basing predictions of the future solely on Ethereum's past can lead to dangerous misconceptions.

As analyst Valdrin Tahiri explained, since July 2015, the price of Ethereum has risen an astonishing 126,250%.

If this growth momentum continues, by 2035, the price of each ETH will reach an astronomical figure of 2.5 million dollars, which Tahiri believes is "extremely unlikely to happen."

On the contrary, Tahiri pointed out that since 2017, the price trend of Ethereum has been influenced by long-term trading channels, deliberately excluding the first two years, as the growth rate in those two years was abnormally rapid.

According to the model, he estimates that by 2035, the midpoint of the channel will be around $80,000, with the lower and upper limits ranging between $25,000 and $800,000.

This provides a wide range of potential outcomes based on historical patterns rather than speculative hopes.

However, Tahiri pointed out that charts alone cannot determine the fate of Ethereum, and highlighted key external factors: "The most significant of which is the broader adoption of Ethereum and its scaling solutions, the expansion of decentralized finance and the tokenization of real-world assets, macroeconomic and regulatory developments, and perhaps most critically, competition from other Layer-1 blockchains."

The Role of Ethereum in the Future

ChatGPT believes that the integration of Ethereum with the real world could reshape the foundations of modern society in the next decade.

The artificial intelligence stated: "The existence of Ethereum may be deeply embedded in systems managing identification, finance, governance, and machine coordination."

One of the most obvious examples may be global healthcare in 2035.

ChatGPT wrote: "Imagine walking into a hospital without having to fill out endless forms or wait for traditional systems to verify your insurance, but instead using a cryptographic proof tied to your identification based on Ethereum to instantly verify your medical records."

It added: "These will protect your privacy while providing seamless access to authorized providers."

ChatGPT also proposed the idea that future governments may issue official identification on Ethereum.

The concept of "soulbound tokens," which are on-chain digital certificates, is considered a potential evolution of the national identification system.

These tokens can power matters such as passport control and voter registration, while ensuring citizen ownership.

In the words of ChatGPT, such a system will "simplify everything from voting to passport checks."

The future envisioned by ChatGPT is that Ethereum is no longer regarded as an unstable "crypto" asset, but rather as a foundational protocol similar to internet infrastructure.

In this imagined future, Ethereum is not something people talk about, nor do they even know what they are using.

Just like the invisible backbone of the internet, TCP/IP, Ethereum may gradually fade from people's sight.

ChatGPT explained: "Users may not even know they are using Ethereum."

Financial applications, wallets, and compliance tools can abstract away the technical details, providing a seamless experience, while Ethereum quietly supports the backend.

ChatGPT stated: "Regulators do not see it as a threat, but rather as a neutral protocol similar to the internet."

It adds: "Ethereum can become a neutral place for private capital and public institutions to conduct transactions, adjudication, and innovation."

The idea that Ethereum could become as intangible yet indispensable as TCP/IP is based on very optimistic assumptions.

It is far from certain whether regulatory authorities will fully accept Ethereum as a neutral digital infrastructure.

The government may choose permissioned blockchains that they can monitor and control.

Moreover, although there are more and more user-friendly tools, Ethereum still has high technical requirements.

Concepts such as Gas fees and private key management remain significant barriers to widespread adoption.

In order for Ethereum to truly disappear into the digital background, it needs to make fundamental progress in usability and user education, but this is far from guaranteed in the next decade.
