According to Gate.io News bot, Wu Shuo reported that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will hold a press conference on April 26, 2025, announcing that El Salvador has strictly adhered to its commitment not to increase its Bitcoin holdings, meeting the performance standards set by both parties.
The IMF pointed out at the meeting that the cooperation between El Salvador and the IMF covers multiple areas, including structural reforms, governance, and fiscal transparency, and that the reform work in these areas is progressing as planned.
