AgriFORCE Agriculture Company provides energy for 120 cryptocurrency miners using natural gas.

The Canadian agricultural company AgriFORCE Growing Systems has launched a project using be trapped gas to operate 120 Bitcoin mining machines in Berwyn, Alberta, in collaboration with BlueFlare Energy.

This facility consumes 425 kW of electricity, achieving a power of 32 PH/s. The gas bị mắc kẹt is of a type that cannot be sold due to being economically unfeasible or difficult to access. AgriFORCE also plans to expand with two additional facilities in Oyen and Hinton. AgriFORCE shares rose slightly by 1.85%, although they have decreased by more than 53% since the beginning of the year. In the fiscal year 2024, the company's revenue increased by 317%, and profits rose by 66%. The Bitcoin mining industry is gradually shifting towards renewable energy to reduce costs, which have already reached 64,000 USD/BTC and are expected to continue rising.
