💰 Whale movements in the Pi Network signal accumulation — 2M PI in mass transfers
The Pi network is falling again, continuing a weekly decline below $0.50.
As wallet balances grow, the largest whales have acquired over 2 million PI tokens.
Bearish technical indicators predict a retest of the $0.40 level as the bullish momentum fades.
The Pi network (PI) is down nearly 1% to $0.45 at the time of publication on Tuesday, as the balances of exchange-controlled wallets are increasing, indicating a supply constraint. However, there were two whale transactions in the last 24 hours with a volume of over 2 million PI tokens. Nevertheless, the technical outlook remains negative, suggesting a retest of the $0.40 level.
Rising levels are causing whales to buy.
PiScan shows that wallet balances are increasing to 373.60 million PI tokens with a net inflow of 2.41 million over 24 hours. Deposits are rising, indicating selling pressure.
Large transactions in the last 24 hours include two whale transactions withdrawing over 2 million PI tokens from O.X amid increasing supply pressure. "GASWBD…J2AODM" withdrew 1.66 million PI tokens, while "GBVD3M…4ZLRVM" received 400,000. Over the past five days, the whale "GASWBD…J2AODM" purchased 7.92 million PI tokens.
Whale purchases are nearly equal to all supply inflows on exchanges, indicating confidence.
The Pi network is aiming for $0.40 as the bullish momentum fades.
The Pi network drops by about 1% on Tuesday after a decline on Monday. Following a 12% drop last week, PI is approaching the round figure $0.40, which was last touched on June 13.
The daily RSI is around 33, slightly above the oversold level, and technical indicators are calm. Selling pressure will increase if the oversold level falls below 30.
MACD is falling, and the signal lines are negative. However, the decline of the red histogram bars suggests a crossover, which can be seen as a buy signal for investors on the sidelines.
The Pi Network needs to close above $0.50 on a daily basis to resume the upward trend after the bearish candle on Friday. The rise of PI could reach $0.54, last touched on June 29.
