Say a method to quickly calm down. Do you have hands? Do you have hair? You probably have body hair too. Place the back of your hand close to a wall, close to a table, close to any object, then close your eyes and use your body hair to feel this object. But don’t focus all your attention on the external object; instead, focus on the sensations on your skin. It's like brushing your shoes; don’t apply too much pressure, don’t go too fast, and don’t be too far away where you can’t feel it, but also don’t be too close where it feels too solid. It should be that feeling of something that is there but not fully there, somewhat vague and elusive. In the beginning, there might be a bit of an itchy sensation, a cool feeling. Keep experiencing this; it can be for 1 minute or 5 minutes, and you will immediately calm down, immediately return to the present moment, enjoying yourself at this moment. You may even feel joy and surprise arise.
