I just saw the Gate Plaza creative competition, and the prize pool of 70,000 WXTM is really tempting! Just in these days, I have been following the 59th issue of CandyDrop's MinoTari (WXTM), so I participated conveniently and would like to share my thoughts and the process.
To be honest, I didn't have a deep understanding of the Tari protocol before, so I specifically went to catch up on it this time. It focuses on digital assets and is written in Rust. The goal seems to be to provide a foundational platform for creators to work with NFTs and game items? It sounds like it's trying to solve the issues of scarcity and ownership of digital items, allowing creators to make money more effectively. I think the concept is headed in the right direction; the demand for digital assets is increasing, but how it concretely develops will depend on the ecosystem. WXTM, as a token in its ecosystem, will certainly have its value linked to the applications of the Tari protocol.
I came for CandyDrop! Who doesn't love getting free candy? The registration process is very simple, just find the 59th MinoTari on Gate's CandyDrop page and click the registration button (https://www.gate.com/zh/announcements/article/46375). The rule is to lock up GT to proportionally distribute WXTM, and after the airdrop ends, it will be sent directly to your account. This kind of activity is suitable for someone like me who wants to get in touch with new projects at a low cost.
To increase the chances of winning the lottery a bit, I also charged a little USDT to buy some WXTM. The recharge process is well understood by old users, using the TRC20 channel, and the speed is still very fast. I didn't buy much, mainly wanted to experience the trading, and support the project in the meantime, who knows it might become popular in the future?
I feel that Gate's initiative for this creation contest is quite good, encouraging everyone to actively research WXTM and Tari, which is more effective than dry promotions. I hope the project team can really produce something practical and not just hype concepts. I also wish for my own CandyDrop to win a big prize!
