On August 9, according to reports, documents disclosed on Friday showed that Harvard University's portfolio held $117 million worth of BlackRock's Spot Bitcoin ETF at the end of the second quarter.

This Bitcoin ETF investment ranks as the fifth largest holding for the school, slightly above its investment in Google's parent company Alphabet. Documents show that Harvard held nearly $114 million worth of Alphabet stock at the end of the quarter.

The investment portfolio of this Ivy League school is managed by Harvard Management Company. At the end of the last quarter, its largest holding was Microsoft stock, worth over $310 million.
