What does this all mean?
The SP500 has surpassed all-time highs in recent days.
However, there is still a sense of caution in the market.
Analysts who foresee crises and even the end of the world.
This can be counterintuitive, which is why it's so important to look at the Russell 2000.
Both the SP500, Dow30 and Nasdaq track the largest companies in the US.
What has happened in the last few months is that the stocks of more powerful companies have been offering good returns.
However, this has not been the case for small-cap companies.
Most of these have remained in a range.
This is reflected in the Russell 2000
What does all this tell us?
That investors are still cautious.
But that may be about to change.
If the Russell 2000 were to hit its all-time high, it would mean that investors would be losing their fear.
What would happen would be that they would start investing in companies with a higher risk profile.
And other types of assets, such as Bitcoin and crypto.
Think about what happens in the crypto sector when an alt season begins.
Investors are moving from being more conservative and investing in Bitcoin, to rotating capital towards alt coins, projects with a much riskier profile.
Well, this is something similar:
- The companies in the SP500 would be Bitcoin
- The companies in the Russell 2000 would be the alts.
When the "alt season" in the global financial markets begins, that's when capital really starts to enter #Bitcoin and the crypto sector.
And that's when #BTC regains its ATH and even surpasses it.
The sequence would look something like this:
1. ̈Alt season ̈ in global financial markets.
2. Capital enters #Bitcoin and crypto.
3. ATH #Bitcoin recovered.
4. Alt season in crypto, this time for real.
If this does happen, forget about halving and other stories.
