Former employee at Near Protocol apologizes to his girlfriend for leaking nude photos
A former employee of Near Protocol accidentally displayed nude images while sharing his screen during a public live stream, resulting in a slight increase in the value of the original NEAR token.
Andrew Crainin, former business development manager, was on a call with Cameron Dennis, one of the key contributors to Near, when some images briefly appeared, revealing some of his saved files.
Krinen stated, "The only thing I wanted to say after that was, Ah... my God." Then he stopped sharing the screen after two seconds. This unexpected incident happened directly before Valentine's Day, and the live broadcast clips quickly spread on X. After that, the original currency NEAR showed an increase in price of about 7% and reached $3.5.
After that, Teading Near Protocol gave some advice about X, "use one laptop for personal purposes and another for work and cryptocurrencies. Keep your private keys - and other things - safe".
Later, Near issued a formal apology, saying it takes full responsibility and has deleted the video from its platform. Krienen responded with two completely different posts. In the first post, he said that if people create memecoins, they should share some of them with him because he needs a big Valentine's Day display.
After ten hours, he only apologized to his girlfriend, describing himself as a fool who made a serious mistake. He reassured others that she is his girlfriend, she is of the tenth grade, and he is always superior.
He added: "For all women, having your nude photos on his laptop doesn't mean it's disrespectful, it means he really loves you, please don't think too much about it especially on Valentine's Day".
