SharpLink Gaming has made another bold Ethereum move. The company transferred $108 million in USDC to Galaxy Digital and used it to buy 14,933 ETH. This latest purchase was made at an average price of $3,550 per ETH, totaling around $53 million.

Just two hours after receiving the ETH, SharpLink sent another $55.56 million USDC to Galaxy Digital. This indicates the buying spree isn’t over. SharpLink seems to be scaling its ETH holdings aggressively through a MicroStrategy-style accumulation model.

SharpLink’s Ethereum Bet Now Totals $1.62B

SharpLink began accumulating ETH in early June 2025. Since then, it has purchased 464,000 ETH, now valued at approximately $1.62 billion. The company’s average buy-in price is $3,029, giving it an unrealized profit of about $214 million.

This makes SharpLink one of the most active institutional ETH buyers in recent months. The company has been deploying capital in structured waves, often on weekends or overnight, which has drawn comparisons to MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin playbook.

Galaxy Digital Is Key to Execution

Galaxy Digital has played a central role in executing SharpLink’s ETH strategy. Nearly every major ETH purchase has involved a USDC transfer to Galaxy, followed by ETH delivery. Analysts @EmberCN are tracking these transactions and flagged the latest moves early Friday morning.

The precision and consistency of these operations suggest this is a long-term strategy. It’s not a hype trade; it’s a coordinated build-up.

ETH Staking and Strategic Goals

Some of the previously acquired ETH has already been staked. This aligns with a broader institutional trend of blending ETH accumulation with passive income through staking. SharpLink’s wallet activity shows periodic deposits into validators, hinting at dual goals: capital appreciation and yield generation.

SharpLink appears to stake most of the ETH after purchase, reinforcing its long-term position. The company seems committed to locking in ETH during what it likely sees as a key accumulation window. The firm’s approach highlights growing institutional interest in Ethereum not just as an asset, but as infrastructure.
