Decentralized Exchange (DEX) Hyperliquid has reached another major milestone this week as its total value locked (TVL) surpassed 6 billion USD, including the Unit tokenization layer, according to data from Dune Analytics.

This milestone was recorded on Wednesday (13/8). That night, BTC reached a new peak above 124,000 USD and ETH approached the previous all-time high, helping the TVL of the largest perpetual futures DEX exceed 6 billion USD.

After the sell-off on August 14, the TVL of Hyperliquid has slightly decreased below this threshold as of August 15. USDC – the main collateral asset of the exchange – accounts for 85% of the total value, equivalent to 5.27 billion USD; uBTC (Unit BTC) is in second place with 383 million USD (6%).

The Unit token class currently contributes nearly 1 billion USD TVL, up 130% from 402 million USD since the beginning of July. The increase on August 13 was further supported by Galaxy Digital, as the company deposited 100 million USD – the largest bridge transaction on the network.

Hyperliquid currently leads the decentralized futures market, accounting for nearly 80% of the trading volume for perps on DEX.
