Mantra is a Layer1 blockchain protocol based on the Cosmos SDK, focusing on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA). The protocol simplifies KYC verification through a decentralized identity (DID) system and supports the tokenization of assets such as real estate, commodities, and artworks. Mantra also innovates the DeFi lending model by expanding the range of collateral through the tokenization of physical assets, optimizing risk management, improving efficiency and compliance through smart contracts, and promoting the development of the DeFi market.

On January 9th, Beijing time, the Real World Asset protocol Mantra signed a $1 billion cooperation agreement with Dubai Damac Group to promote the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) based on blockchain in the United Arab Emirates. Damac is a diversified investment group covering various fields such as real estate, hotels, and manufacturing. It will use Mantra's technology to tokenize its assets, thereby enhancing transparency, security, and accessibility.

OM token is the core of the Mantra ecosystem, serving as a governance token, incentive mechanism, and payment medium, enhancing the decentralization of Mantra and network stability. The outstanding performance of the OM token in 2024, with a significant price increase, reflects investor confidence. According to Gate.io market data, at 9:00 am on January 26th, Beijing time, the price of the Mantra Protocol token OM broke through the $5 mark, reaching a high of $5.0979. As of the time of writing, OM is priced at $4.76, with a 24-hour increase narrowed to 37%. The current circulating market value of OM is $4.64 billion, ranking 32nd in the global market.
