Leçon 6

Wrapping Up

Congratulations! You've made it to the end of this course on Intermediate Tezos Development. In this course, we delved deeper into the world of Tezos smart contracts, using SmartPy as our primary development tool.

We started with a brief introduction to fungible tokens and the FA1.2 standard. We then moved on to write and deploy a fully-functional FA1.2 fungible token contract on a Tezos testnet. We explained the critical components and functions of our contract in depth and discussed how to interact with our contract, allowing users to mint, transfer, and burn tokens.

Remember, this is just a stepping stone in your journey of Tezos development. In the first course, “Introduction to Tezos Development: Building a Simple dApp with SmartPy,” we started with the basics of blockchain and Tezos, moving on to creating a simple dApp. If you have not taken that course, we highly recommend checking it out to strengthen your foundational understanding.

Going forward, there is still so much more to learn. Tezos offers a rich and rapidly-evolving ecosystem for developing sophisticated and secure decentralized applications.
In the upcoming third course, titled “Advanced Tezos Development: Multisig Contracts, Games, and More with SmartPy,” we will dive into more complex topics like multisig contracts, game development, and other advanced Tezos features. This course will further equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to create complex and secure decentralized applications on the Tezos blockchain.

Before you go, remember that practice is key when learning a new language or tool. Don’t hesitate to experiment with what you’ve learned in this course. Try to write your own contracts, deploy them, and play around with them. We hope this course has been informative, engaging, and valuable to your Tezos development journey. We look forward to seeing you on the next course, and, most importantly, seeing what amazing projects you’ll build on the Tezos blockchain!

Happy coding!
